Meet Our Dental Assistants!

Megan Bentley

Dental Assistant Team Leader

I grew up in Pilot Mountain, and graduated from East Surry High School in 2010. I received my Associate's degree from Forsyth Technical Community College, and my dental assisting degree from Piedmont Dental Assistants.

I am the dental assistant Team lead, and absolutely love my job! I love being a part of something larger that makes a difference. I look forward to meeting you!

Melody Moorer

Dental Assistant

I graduated from Faulkner State College in South Alabama and attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham for Dental Hygiene.

My main focus has always been dental assisting, and I have been a dental assistant for over 20 years. I am back home in Mount Airy and look forward to getting to know our wonderful patients and providing them with the very best care!

Charity Jordan

Dental Assistant

I was born and raised in Galax, Virginia. I'm one of seven children, and have one myself, who is 8 years old. I attended Wythville Community College for Dental Assisting and found my "dental home" in August 2015 when I began working at Dr. Gravitte's office.

I love working with our patients, and it is my daily goal to make sure everyone is confident with their smile! I look forward to meeting each and every one of our patients!

Brad Hodges

Hygiene Assistant

I am married with one child, and I love to spend time outside. When I am not working, I love playing sports with my son, or just going for a nice hike at Hanging Rock or Pilot Mountain.

I have been a dental assistant for 6 years, with experience in orthodontics, general dentistry, oral surgery, and dental hygiene.

I love to see people smile, and teeth are always the first thing I notice about someone. I enjoy helping people have a better, brighter, and healthier smile.

Shelby Leis

Hygiene Assistant

I was born and raised in Columbia, SC. I moved to NC with my fiance' to pursue my career as a Dental Assistant in March of 2017. My goal is to give the best patient comfort and to educate our patients on proper oral hygiene.

My hobbies are spending time with my fiance', spending quality time with our families, and playing outside with our fur baby, Dixie.

I look forward to meeting you!

Stephanie Voellmann

Dental Assistant

I have three older brothers and was raised by my father. I joined the United States Air Force when I was 20 years old as an Electrical and Enviornmental Technician on the F-16 fighter jet. I served for four years on active duty at Shaw AFB in South Carolina. Then, I transitioned to the Air Force Reserve as a Dental Assistant and am currently serving at Niagara Falls ARS in New York.

I completed the first year of a two year Dental Hygiene program in New York. Sadly, I had to give up my school in order for my fiance' to pursue his career but it is a high priority to get me back into a program. I am engaged to the love of my life and we have two boys, well dogs, Archer and Jackson.
